Matt Hessler
Matt has been tattooing since 1994. He owned & operated XS in Rochester from 1998 through 2018. In early 2014, he bought a dilapidated building in the Cass Corridor which had been sitting mostly vacant for the past several decades. He undertook a major, year and a half long renovation, culminating in the opening of Iconic Tattoo & 3 other businesses in the Iconic building in late 2015. He currently tattoos several days a week @ Iconic, focusing on larger illustrative tattoos, often with a certain amount of Japanese influence in composition & subject matter.
Chase aka Fel3000ft
Chase / Fel3000ft has been tattooing for 17 years & has worked @ XS & Iconic since 2005. His experience in street art, graffiti, & new school tattoos can be seen in all forms of his work; walls, skin, canvas, & sculpture. Though graffiti and street art are his roots, he loves all forms of tattooing and is well versed and well rounded. Known for his urban contemporary street art in Detroit on such locations as Hop Cat and in Eastern Market, he prefers to do more thought provoking art ~ things with metaphor and meaning ~ but is unafraid to keep it light and fun as well.
Robert Casper
Robert Casper has been involved with the tattoo industry for 20 years & has been tattooing for 6 years. He specializes in black and grey realism, but is well versed in most styles and color. With an art background in painting and charcoal, he loves putting together a custom piece for each client so every design is different and special.
Steve Sype
Steve has been tattooing since 2001. Given his experience, he has a good understanding of limitations of the skin, and knows how to design a tattoo that ages well and flows with the body. Steve enjoys having creative freedom and doing tattoos with floral, organic, cosmic, neo-traditional, occult, medieval, metaphysical, and odd subject matter.
